Air Conditioner Maintenance: Checking Refrigerant Pressure and Cleaning the System

If the pressure is too high, it can also signal problems in the system that may lead to compressor overload.

Inspection of the Outdoor Unit

The outdoor unit contains several important components such as:

• Compressor
• Condenser coil
• Fan motor

These parts are responsible for releasing heat from the room to the outside air. If the condenser coil becomes dirty or blocked with dust, the air conditioner will not work efficiently.

Regular inspection of the outdoor unit helps detect potential issues early.

Cleaning the Indoor Unit

The indoor unit also requires periodic cleaning. Over time dust, moisture and bacteria accumulate inside the system.

This can cause:

• weak airflow
• unpleasant smell
• reduced cooling efficiency

Professional cleaning removes dirt from the evaporator coil and internal components, restoring proper airflow and improving system performance.

Why Regular Maintenance Is Important

Regular servicing of an air conditioner provides several benefits:
